A | From the point of ordering your chosen lift, delivery can take up to 6 weeks. Once it’s arrived, the installation can take between 1 to 3 days.

Q | HOW MUCH ROOM DOES A HOME LIFT TAKE UP?
A | It’s still possible to take advantage of the benefits of a home elevator without having lots of space. In fact, the Aritco 4000 is small enough to fit in an area the size of an airing cupboard! It’s our smallest and most compact home lift and perfect for smaller residential spaces. We also have a range of home lifts for disabled and wheelchair access which may require more room, however we can ensure that whatever model you choose, you make the most of the space you have.

Q | WHAT BUILDING WORK WILL NEED TO BE CARRIED OUT?
A | Most lift installation projects require minimum disruption in your home and do not involve any invasive building works. Depending on the location of the lift, there may be instances where additional work needs to be carried out, such as moving pipes, but our consultants and surveyors will discuss the breadth of building work needed before you begin your project.

Q | DO I REQUIRE PLANNING PERMISSION FOR A HOME LIFT?
A | It depends on the size and scale of your project but generally, no you don’t need planning permission to install a home lift. You just need a standard building notice application but this can be arranged by Fenston & Cromwell on your behalf.

Sensors are fitted that detect movement into and out of the lift, and our engineers are on hand in the event of an emergency.
